Charismatic renewal and historic evangelicalism is the foundation of the Vineyard Movement which spread to Canada in the 1980s and 90s. An outpouring of the Holy Spirit began at the Toronto Airport Vineyard Church in 1994 and became known all over the world as the “Toronto Blessing”.
