Restorationist
The Restoration movement began on the frontier of America during the Second Great Awakening with a desire to return to apostolic Christianity and the New Testament pattern of unity. Greatly influenced by two men, the movement also became know as Stone-Campbell Restoration. There have been many spin-offs from the early founding, the most notable are the Churches of Christ and the Disciples of Christ. Although Protestant in theology and practice, they prefer to be called "Christians".
