Lead Pastor Leon Dunning
As founder and lead pastor, Leon responded to the call to the Oceanfront area of Virginia Beach to reach those who where not connected to God. His main tag line is “Salt always makes a difference, and a little bit of Salt goes a long way.” Since launching in 2016, Salt has made a permanent impression throughout Virginia Beach and continues to salt the city by sharing the gospel by any means necessary. Leon holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Appalachian State University and a M.A. in Theology from Regent University. In his spare time, Leon loves surfing, camping, hiking and anything outdoors. Leon and his wife, Miranda, live in Virginia Beach, VA with their son, Max, and daughter, Savannah.
