Meet The Pastor

Pastor Tommy Frazier
Pastor Tommy & Missi Frazier Tommy and Missi have been married for twenty seven years and have spent all those years serving God and ministering in various different ways/ They have two sons: Braden, who lives in Abilene with his wife Carla and Bryce, along with his wife Courtney serve at MBF. Tommy began ministering at the age of 17, while still in high school. He began to preach on the streets and pray for the sick in hospitals. By the time he was out of high school, he started going into prisons as a volunteer for Prison Fellowship. At that same time he began serving in his local church where he did everything from running cameras for their television ministry to working his way up to associate Pastor. During this time God began to foster two loves in his life: the love for prison ministry and his love for sports. The prison ministry began to grow and by the time he was married at age 24, Tommy had ministered as a singer, teacher and preacher in most of the prisons in Texas. When he was married, Missi joined right in and began to minister to inmates as well. Over the next several years Tommy and Missi would take teams of volunteers behind the prison walls to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Ministering to inmates and former inmates is still a passion that burns in both of them. At the same time Tommy was coaching in every youth league he could. Although he loved the sports side of it, he cherished the fact that this was an opportunity to speak into kids’ lives every day. After he and Missi were married, he began to coach in high schools and coached at the collegiate level. He believed that the hours he spent with young men both on and off the field was the ministry God was leading him into. During the first few years of coaching, he was also doing prison ministry and still serving in his local church. In 1994 Tommy began to teach and coach full time. In 1998 with Missi by his side, Tommy left Waco and began to serve the Lord as a football coach in other communities. With their two sons in school, Tommy backed off from traveling and concentrated on his family and job. Tommy says, “I watched other ministers all my life that lost their kids to this world because they were too busy ministering to others. I was not going to be that person. God gave Missi and I the gifts we call our sons and with that, he gave us the responsibility to raise them.” God still was using Tommy as a successful coach, but even more as a leader of young men. He won a few state championship rings along the way, but considers the young me who are successful husbands, fathers and church leaders as his most prized rings. During this time, Missi has been busy in the medical field where she is an Regional Director for assisted living homes. She loves working with the elderly and believes that the compassion she has for the elderly is a gift from God. While working full time, she also was sold out to the ministries that Tommy was involved with. Whether it was singing and speaking behind the bars to inmates or just serving a dinner to the football players Tommy was mentoring, she did it all with a passion and zeal. Missi is looking forward to serving Tommy and the people of Waco in this new season of their lives. The new season is The Mold Breaker Fellowship. Tommy and Missi are excited to follow the Lord in this new calling. This is one more step in their ministry and they invite you to join them in it.
