Meet The Pastor
Rev. Dave Williamson
Hawker Church is been a part of our community for almost 175 years, and we'd love to have you join us.
We're a small church that's part of a denominational family which traces its roots to the Pilgrims of New England, America's first missionaries, and America's premier universities (which were started to train men for the ministry). Our "traditional" worship is very participatory (you'll be able to hear yourself singing and praying with others), and we use music that unites us with the generations who have come before us and the generations who are yet to come.
I've been here for seven years, and I have only great things to say about the people here. From the warm welcome you'll receive when you walk in the door, to the cookies for the kids after I share a special message with them, the refreshments and fellowship we enjoy after the service, and the willingness of folks here to participate in "seminars" and projects to serve one another and the community, it's obvious that the Holy Spirit of God is at work in the lives of this congregation.
No website or denominational website or even a Facebook livestream can give you a good picture of Hawker Church. You have to experience "God with us" for yourself. Come for a visit and let Jesus speak to you through us.
