Our Mission
Leave the world behind, follow Jesus Christ as a disciple and shine His light to a lost and dying world.
We depend upon the Spirit of God to show us the Truth of God in the Word of God to share it with the Sheep of God so they can go forth and do the Will of God by doing the Work of God.

1/5About Disciples Christian Fellowship
DCF is a non-denominational Christian fellowship designed after the First Century Christian Church spoken of in Acts 2. Our Statement of Faith is very much in line with the Baptist Faith and Message (SBC 2000). We preach chapter by chapter, verse by verse through the Bible, focusing on discipleship and Biblical spiritual growth in a loving and caring community, with occasional thematic/topical messages as the Lord leads. We do not have any paid Pastors or staff members - our leadership is all volunteer. We do not own a building or pay any rent to use the clubhouse we meet in. We do not have any loans, bills or other financial obligations over our heads. We do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS as we have no need for that status to do the work of Christian ministry. We do not have any youth or children's programs - families sit together in service and all are welcome. Any offerings we receive go to a Benevolence Fund which is managed by a committee of members to benefit our body whenever a member is in need. We believe in and are willing to partner with other Bible-believing, Holy Spirit-led Christian churches in the work of actively sharing the Gospel, ministering God's love to the community and supporting one another in growth and spiritual discipline. We pray for one another, encourage one another and help disciple each other in the Word of God. We believe that we are to have daily walk with the Lord that includes Bible study and prayer, submission to His will and boldly walking in faith, doing what God has called us to do to advance His kingdom. We meet for worship together on Sunday mornings at 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. and we have a traditional church musical style (hymns). We also meet in homes on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. for Bible Study and prayer. We support local charitable causes and reach out into our community with the love of Christ. We are a strong, tight-knit family that loves to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior together and we would love to have you join us!

BELIEFS
Doctrinal Statement is taken from the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message (please contact us via our website for the complete Statement of Faith)
On issues of doctrinal beliefs of the fellowship, the teaching team has an unanimous stance.
Preaching and teaching and any individual or group counseling is done directly from the Word of God using any of the following acceptable translations: King James Version (KJV), New King James Version (NKJV), New American Standard (NASB), New International Version (NIV-1995), Amplified Bible (AMP) and the English Standard Version (ESV).
We exegete the scripture, interpreting it in the context of the whole of scripture (always seeking for scripture to interpret scripture using Old and New Testament passages together), providing and explaining the known history and culture of the time for proper context, whenever necessary.
We avoid the heavy use of commentary and outside sources (movies, videos, blogs, writings and books outside of scripture) as material, instead we focus on the scripture alone and the revelation of the Holy Spirit to the teacher/preacher.
We prohibit the use of any music, doctrine or teaching from any and all known heretical or scripturally unsound sources.
We agree to the “5 Solas”: Sola Scriptura (By Scripture alone), Sola Fide (By faith alone, over works), Sola Gratia (By grace alone, over merit), Solus Christus (By/through Christ alone) and Soli Deo Gloria (The glory to God alone).
We hold one another accountable to speak the Truth in the Love of Christ and live lives that are above reproach.
We make an emphasis of teaching the Word, focusing on the Basics of the faith, encouraging Discipleship and the equipping and encouraging of the use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit within the community.
Worship consists of preaching, teaching, discipleship, compassionate care, music, service, prayer and fellowship of the saints. For this purpose, we will not refer to only the time of music as “Worship”, as we believe that all of the above-mentioned activities are expressions of worship from us, as Believers to the Father God we serve. We are not the audience, receiving worship; we are the participants, offering worship to God.
