OUR MISSION
More than that, He (Jesus) shows up every week to prove it over, and over, and over again as He washes us clean and makes us whole. He gives us the kind of grace and love that you just can’t find anywhere else. Get in touch with us, or come check it out!
Many faces- but only one Lord, one faith, one baptism.
We are a diverse group of disciples of Jesus Christ – bankers, musicians, social workers, teachers, public servants, lawyers, business owners, parents, grandparents, married and single – united by our shared faith in Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God.

ABOUT UNITY LUTHERAN
Gathered from around the Capital Region here in the heart of Albany, we are your neighbors, and we care about this city. Our aim is to proclaim Jesus faithfully, as we share a common faith that Death is dead because Jesus is alive. That is the hope that try to give to the community around us, that there is more to life than wealth, status, education and politics— There is a God who loves us, who loves you, and died to prove it.

BELIEFS
The Creeds!
Our faith is centered on the Son of God, Jesus of Nazareth. His life, death, resurrection, and ascension are the climax of the story of God’s workings in the world, the Bible, which we hold to be inspired and infallible. Our Christian faith can be concisely summed up in the words of the three Ecumenical Creeds.
We are also a congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LC-MS for short).
As such, we believe that in the proclaimed Word (Bible/sermon) and the Sacraments (Baptism and Communion) Jesus is truly physically present for and with us, bringing present-tense forgiveness of sins and strengthening of our faith. We proclaim the present-tense Gospel! Furthermore, we offer Jesus to anyone, interpret the Bible faithfully, and hold to Biblical understandings of how the people of God are supposed to act as we wait in community for the return of Jesus.
