A fellow pastor asked me if I would be willing to fill the pulpit at a church in Eden, NC for a few weeks. Not wanting anyone to go without the Lord's word and Christian fellowship, I agreed. After a few weeks of getting to know the people, what I found were people who have a sincere desire to live a Christ-centered lifestyle. Unashamed of Jesus and unapologetic for believing in the truth of the Bible, this group of believers knows that they are broken without Jesus, and so embrace the Lord not just in belief but also in practice. A few weeks turned into a few months, and they called me to be their pastor.
