I wanted to find a Christian church that does not discriminate against women or LGBTQ people. I wanted to find a church that stands up for social justice issues and works to meet the needs of the poor, the sick, and the homeless. I wanted to find a church that follows Jesus, not conservative religious dogma. I thank God I found Bethel Congregational United Church of Christ. It's everything I wanted to find in a church and more.
