Senior Pastors Encounter Church Church
Pastor Gary and Jo Ann Porter have been in involved in pastoral ministry for over 40 yrs.
They have lived and ministered along the Gulf Coast for the last 28 yrs. Their love for God and people is genuine and contagious. Pastor Gary has a earned Masters Degree in Theology from Life Christian University in Tampa, FL.. They love ministering the Word that produces faith in an environment of Love were the Holy Spirit can minister freely. The church was birthed in late 2017 and occupied a store front for 3 yr. The church continued to grow and the church moved into the new location in the Fall of 2021 at 825 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola ( 1/2 mile west of US29/Pensacola Blvd next to Lowe's/Aqua Carwash).
In 2025 Pastor Greg & Mary Gilliard joined the church staff as Associate Pastors bringing 15+ years of pastoral ministry experience.
The Church livestreams all their services on the Rumble platform and began broadcasting weekly services on the local (Christian Broadcasting Network (CTN) WHBR-TV 33 station every Sunday at 8pm and Wednesday at 10:30am
