Senior Pastors Encounter Church Church
Pastor Gary and Jo Ann Porter have been in involved in pastoral ministry for over 35 yrs.
They have lived and ministered along the Gulf Coast for the last 20 yrs. Their love for God and people is genuine and contagious. Pastor Gary has a Bachelor Degree in Christian Ministry and also three year degree in Theology. They love ministering the Word that produces faith in an environment of Love were the Holy Spirit can minister freely. The church was birthed in late 2017 and occupied a store front for 3 yr. The church continued to grow and the the church moved into the new location in the Fall of 2021 at 825 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola ( 1/2 mile west of US29/Pensacola Blvd next to Lowe's/Aqua Carwash).
In 2021 Pastor Billy & Sarah Beauregard joined the church staff as Associate Pastors.
The Church has operated a fully accredited Bible College offer 2yr. and 4yr. Degrees in Theology and Christian Ministry. Plans are in the making to soon offer a Masters and Doctorate degrees.
Plans are currently underway to start a Before/After Care School program for K-5th Grade to be open in 2022.
