We are a confessional congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, located in Charleston, West Virginia. Redeemer's mission is to serve and lead all people to God's salvation in Christ; to be Help, Hope and Home in the body of Christ.
We offer a blended style, combining great traditional hymns of the faith and contemporary praise. Communion is served every Sunday. Our Communion Statement can be found here: https://www.redeemerwv.org/worship-services
Dress for our services is casual, though we urge attendees to dress how they are comfortable for worship.

Sola scriptura. Sola fide. Sola gratia. Sola Christus.
SOLA SCRIPTURA (SCRIPTURE ALONE)
The Bible is God's inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law & His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for christian doctrine.
SOLA FIDE (FAITH ALONE)
By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.
SOLA GRATIA (GRACE ALONE)
God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
SOLUS CHRISTUS (THROUGH CHRIST ALONE)
Christ alone emphasizes that salvation can only be found through the life, death, and resurrection of Christ. There is no other mediator between God and man but the man Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said, "I am The Way, and The Truth, and The Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
