Meet The Pastor
Pastor Adam Schwenk
I get the privilege to serve as the Lead Pastor of Legacy Church. My passion is to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and plant churches. My craft is redeeming the lost art of storytelling, especially the story of grace found in the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
I grew up in West Virginia, and I met my incredible wife, Lynn, on the first day of college. I am a graduate of Liberty University with a B.S. in Religion, Master of Arts in Religion, and Master of Divinity. Currently I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership at Regent University with a specialization in Church Leadership. Before launching Legacy Church, I worked at McLean Bible Church in Northern Virginia and The Point in Charlottesville. I enjoy adventure sports, spending time with friends, and traveling to new places.
The Scripture that keeps me focused is Philippians 1:20 which says, “It is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death.”
