Rev. Dr. Interim Pastor Ray James
Ministry
Lead Pastor, Associate Pastor, Daycare & School Administrator, College President (registered with the State of Maryland), and Church Growth Consultant. At the District level, I served as a Regional District Church Coordinator (for new church plants, and District Affiliated churches); and as a School of Ministry student mentor. At the Sectional level, I served as the Christian Education Director. I also served for several years as the Chairman of the Potomac District Registration and Roster Committee.
In addition, my ministry and travels have taken me to 49 of our 50 states, and to over 40 countries on five continents. In 2016 I traveled to Spain to conduct two weekend church planters conferences, and ministered 14 times in different cities and churches in 11 days. I am a strong advocate of home and foreign missions.

Credentials
I am an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, and have been credentialed with the Assemblies of God since December 11, 1980. I am also a Short-Term Missionary with the Assemblies of God World Missions and my certification is valid through January 2021.
Family
I am married to the former Linda Brown of Oldtown, Maryland. We have two adult children:
son, Tony, married and living in Pittsburgh, PA; and daughter, Sonya, married and living in Jonesborough, TN; plus eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
