Meet The Pastor
Rev. Dr. Adam Tyler
Adam Tyler has served as pastor at Grace Hills Baptist Church in Appomattox since June 2009. He leads Grace Hills in ministry with his passionate faith, heart for missions, commitment to discipleship, and love for the congregation. Prior to his service with Grace Hills, Adam pastored Mt. Zion Baptist Church in New Canton, VA, for 3 ½ years. Adam holds a Doctor of Ministry from Palmer Theological Seminary and a Master’s of Divinity from Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond. He has also been very involved in the ministry of the Baptist General Association of Virginia, and currently serves as the organization’s elected president. Adam married his wife, Cadance, in 2011. She is youth minister at Randolph Memorial Baptist Church of Madison Heights, and the couple welcomed their son Jonathan in March 2015 and daughter Phoebe in July 2019.
