Senior Pastor Paul E. Hayes II
Hello and Welcome to Historic Holy Temple COGIC of The Valdosta District, 105 Years old and The oldest Church in The Southern Georgia Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, as of today, 10-28-13.
Our Leader, Supt. Paul E. Hayes II was appointed to The Pastorate at Holy Temple by The Late Bishop Jack Stephens in February 2008, after the passing of his Father, Supt. Paul E. Hayes, Sr., who had been Pastor for the previous 35 years. Supt. Hayes is married to The District Missionary Janice Sharper Hayes and they have one adult son and daughter.
Supt. Hayes was seIected by The Bishop J.W. Leggett to preach The first Historic Message ("CVS - Christ versus satan") for Bishop's Visionary 5th Weekend Jurisdictional Fellowship at The Bishop's Church, Bethany Temple, Albany, GA, in 2009. Supt. Hayes was then seIected by The Bishop J.W. Leggett to preach The first Historic Message ("Letters From The Bishop") for Bishop's 1st & History making "Back-Home Hour" in The Jurisdictional Workers' Conference on 3-18-11, in Macon. In April of 2013, Supt. Hayes led Holy Temple in its first renovation effort of his tenure and The Lord did Bless. April 2013 also saw The Lord Leading The Bishop to bring the very first Auxiliaries In Ministry (AIM) Southern Region Rally to Be Hosted by Supt. Hayes and Holy Temple. Bishop has again selected Supt. Hayes and Holy Temple to host The very 1st Auxiliaries In Ministry (AIM) Impact Ministry conference for The Southern Region, on November 15th &16th 2013.
