Senior Pastor Rev. Ron Hathcoat
Rev. Ron Hathcoat has pastored the flock (congregation) of East Fork Baptist Church of McKinney, Texas since 2005 and joyfully carries out his pastoral office and its duties in boldly proclaiming the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our pastor is married to Pat Hathcoat and she is, in the very best and Scriptural sense of GOD's word, a precious gift to him as his helpmate. She is very dedicated to the Lord and she has been blessed by Him with a beautiful singing voice. A fine example of a Christian wife, Pat is also very supportive of her husband with respect to his duties and responsibilities as the congregation's pastor.
Mrs. Hathcoat wonderfully and graciously displays the fruit of The Holy Spirit and is truly an asset to the Church's congregation and its work and mission. In addition to serving as the congregation's organist she also teaches one of two adult Sunday School classes which, at first glance, may seem to be designed to serve the ladies of our congregation but it is also open to any of the congregation's men as well.
Frequently, Pat will share a solo or a duo special presentation of a classic hymn or a more contemporary Christian song. And it's a joy to hear her because GOD has blessed her with a beautiful singing voice.
Pastor Hathcoat's preaching is uncompromising with respect to feeding his flock with the whole counsel of God while always striving to faithfully show himself to be approved of GOD, being a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
The congregation is richly blessed with Pastor Hathcoat's loving and gracious leadership both inside and outside of the congregation's house of worship. He faithfully studies the Holy Scriptures and strives to carefully handle the Word of God while diligently seeking to daily commend and present himself to the Eternal and Sovereign Triune GODHEAD (God, The Father; God, The Son; and God, The Holy Spirit) as a faithful shepherd both within the church of GOD and the East Fork Baptist Church of McKinney, Texas.
