Redeemer Church is a new faith community, a campus of First Methodist Pearland, that recently opened. As a community, we are marked by our family friendly atmosphere, our commitment to forming friendships around faith, and our desire to make a real difference in our community. heologically, we are committed to the core, historic, orthodox doctrines of Christian faith, held by the church for almost 2000 years and articulated in the Apostles Creed: We believe in God, the father almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day, he rose from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and from there shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy universal Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Our denominational affiliation is with the United Methodist Church, which derives its inspiration from the life and works of John Wesley.
