Meet The Pastor
Senior Pastor Jack R. Pidgeon
West Houston Christian Center was birthed in 1989 in the home of Pastors Jack and Mary Jean Pidgeon. The first Sunday saw a crowd of 16 people with an overflow area consisting of their dining room and children's church in an upstairs bedroom. Two weeks later, West Houston Christian Center moved to the Alief YMCA where each Sunday the church was set up prior to the service and torn down immediately after. The church grew to 80 people, and 3 years later, West Houston was moved to its first permanent building, seating 200 people. West Houston is currently in its 700-seat auditorium.
