Our Mission
We’re glad you’ve chosen to find out more about Sonrise Church. Since our beginning in 2007, Sonrise Church has been passionate about seeing our community come to know the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. We will not cater to personal preference in our mission to reach our community, but will bind together to give our lives away to the mission of making disciples. Our vision requires that we are more concerned with the people we are trying to reach than the people we are trying to keep.
Our vision is “To lead people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.”
Our mission is “To make disciples who make disciples.”
Our strategy to accomplish our vision and mission is focused around four words:
CONNECT in intimacy with God
GROW in community with God and those inside the church
SERVE the least, the last, and the lost
LEAD many others to do the same
