Pastor Sabra and the City of Faith Church's singular mission is to be a "City of Faith" through passionate pursuit of the great commission as we model the greatest commandment. How do we do this? Through a 3 step process of spiritual formation designed and developed by Pastor Sabra Johnson.
City of Faith Church's process of spiritual formation under the inspirational life coaching of Pastor Sabra involves a 3 step approach: Life Inspiration through worship, Life Class through the virtual bible-based teaching of Pastor Sabra Johnson and Life Groups through connecting with others on the journey of personal development. Pastor Sabra and City of Faith are here to reach, restore and release Houston Texas through the power of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Sabra teaches spiritual formation as the growth and engagement of the whole person through focus on one's interior life, social connections, spiritual disciplines and many other mind and body practices.
It is the vision of Pastor Sabra and the City of Faith family to be Houston Texas's preferred spiritual destination for personal development as we continually reach the next generation, restore the reached and release the restored to go and bring others into God's process of spiritual formation on display in the life of City of Faith Church.

The “City” Worship Experience- A high energy 80 minute motivational-multicultural inspirational experience featuring songs of victory as well as a word from the anointed teaching of Pastor Sabra in a fresh environment reaching- restoring-releasing young families in North West Houston Texas.
First Impressions- You will notice a non-religious looking shopping center featuring a Bingo Hall on one side, a Restaurant on the other side and an open Door in the middle with signs and smiling faces.
First Interactions- Upon your 10am entrance, you will hear and feel the energy of contemporary songs of hope filling the air, smells of our continental “pot-luck” breakfast, the aroma of fresh coffee as you witness a cross cultural blend of smiling faces enjoying the fellowship of each other.
First Information- You have the opportunity to explore the information booth, peruse the inspirational bookstore as well as recieve a special “welcome” from CREW (our children department ages 4-12).
Featured Inspiration- You will witness the casually dressed Pastor Sabra before you with a bible in hand, a smiling face and a “today word for life”- Pastor will give a prayer, a leson recap along with 20-30 minutes of practical bible-based teaching of God’s Word. During this time of service, the children exit to a CREW teaching session targeting ages 4-12 years.
Final Impressions- 80 minutes later, you will notice the Pastor asking one of the members to give a benediction (a final blessing) and service is over…
End Results- You are energized through the song service, encouraged through the fellowship, equipped through the teaching and enthusiastically pleased by smiling faces of "CREW: Children Readily Equipped With The Word of God".

What We Believe
ABOUT THE BIBLE
• We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, divinely inspired; that it contains no errors in the original manuscripts and is preserved by God for us; it is authoritative for this church and each of us for every age.

• We believe that God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are one God.
• We believe God created the universe by His Power and Word.

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST
• We believe Jesus Christ was sent by God the Father into the world to save sinners.
• We believe that Jesus Christ was virgin born, sinless in life and mighty in words and deeds.
• We believe Jesus was both God and man, that He was crucified for our sins, and his body was raised from the dead. He then ascended to His Father’s side where He is head of the church and intercedes for believers.

ABOUT SALVATION
• We believe that Jesus, through His death on the cross, provided salvation for all. However, to receive salvation one must repent of sin and trust Jesus Christ alone. The true believer is eternally secure and cannot lose his salvation. He may, however, lose his joy by sin and bring the loving discipline of the Father upon himself.
• All who have received Christ will at death depart to be with Christ in their spirits and at Christ’s return, receive a new body, which will be like His glorious body.

• We believe a New Testament church is a local body of baptized believers who have agreed together to worship Jesus Christ, edify the believers, evangelize the lost and minister to others. We believe there are two primary spiritual offices in the administration of God's NT Church- Pastor and Deacon.
• The church has two ordinances: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Baptism symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the new life we have in Him. The Lord’s Supper is a reminder of Christ’s death and anticipates His Second Coming..
