Meet The Pastor
Pastor Rob Singleton
Rob Singleton is the founding/lead pastor of Impact Church. Impact’s mission is to Make an impact for Jesus Christ by leaving the mark of His love on the church, the community, the world, and even future generations!
Pastor Rob was called into ministry at the age of 16, late one night alone on a 40 acre island in the heart of the Adirondack mountains. Like Jacob in the Old Testament, he wrestled with God about which way to go with his life. Before the night was over, God had won and the young teenager knew he would never be the same!
After high school, Rob returned to that Island (Word of Life Island) and that same tree where he had such an intense spiritual encounter with the living God and he entered the Word of Life Bible Institute for one year of deep instruction in God’s Word from some of the best teachers from all over the world.
From there it was off to Dallas Theological Seminary where he received his ThM (Master of Theology degree) and a 3 year stint as the North Dallas Area Director for Young Life.
After seminary Rob moved to Charlotte North Carolina and met his wife, Michelle. They were married in November of 1995 and together have 2 awesome teenagers, Nathan 16 and Juliana 14.
Rob planted 2 churches, Grace Community and Southbrook. After pastoring Southbrook for 12 years and seeing over 6,000 people commit their lives to Jesus Christ as well as over 3,000 profess Him through baptism, Pastor Rob ventured out one more time to plant Impact Church.
Though Impact does not officially launch until the Fall of 2013, there are already over 500 men, women and children ready to make an impact for Jesus that we believe will be more than a church…we believe it will be a movement of God!
