Our Mission

Mission- Our mission is to grow in love, to serve like Jesus, and to glorify God with passion. Vision- Our vision is to love every person we come in contact with, like Jesus, and teach them by His word. LFC is about creating real community through Growing Love, Serving Faithfully, and Glorifying Christ daily! This is done by meeting people right where they are- showing freedom through Christ’s love. The word “church” is how we want to be known as a people and not just a building. We are soul shapers who are passionate about reaching and leading people fully to Christ. In the next five years it is our prayer to meet the needs of the poor in spirit and the broken hearted in ways that can only be explained as acts of God. Our prayer is for God to bring 200 spirit-filled, baptized believers walking in freedom, and committed to building relationships in our community and then world.

About Love Fellowship Church

We are normal people who serve an extraordinary God. We deal with normal issues in life, but we believe that Jesus is the answer to getting through the issues of life. We have a passion to help people discover who Jesus really is and then together become just like Him…. What Should I Expect? For some, church can be a nerve-racking experience. So, before you walk through the doors, let us set your mind at ease: You are welcome here. So expect to be warmly greeted and count on finding assistance while you're here. We are a church about Christ centered relationships walking in love and grace daily. What to Wear? Wear what you feel comfortable wearing, but you will notice that most of our people wear casual or dress in casual clothing. We desire an environment that inspires you to worry more about God and less about what someone else is wearing.

BELIEFS

1. About God God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. Genesis1:1, 26-27, 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 3:14 2. About Man Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. He is the supreme object of God's creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called sin. This attitude separates man from God. Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:12 3. About Eternity Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence. John 3:16; 1 John 2:25, 5:11-13; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15 4. About Jesus Christ Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again on earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Matthew 1:22-23, Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11 5. About Salvation Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ in to his life by faith. Romans 3:23-24; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12, 14:6; Titus 3:5; Galations 3:26 6. About Eternal Salvation Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is by grace and keeping power of God that gives this security. John 10:29; 2 Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25, 10:10-14; 1 Peter 1:3-5 7. About The Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian for the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily. 2 Corinthians 3:17; John 14:16-17, 16:7-13; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25 8. About the Bible The Bible is God's Word to all men. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error. Psalm 119:105, 160; Proverbs 30:5; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 1:13 9. Baptism Baptism by water is the outward sign or public demonstration of what has already been done in the individual's life and is a testimony to all that the person now belongs to Jesus. It is identification with Jesus and is affected in the name of the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the gift that dwells within you and draws you closer to God sealing His promise of eternal life. Matthew 3:13-16; John 3:23; Acts 1:5; Acts 8:38 10. The Lord's Supper The Lord's Supper is a reminder of what Jesus did on the cross, as His body was broken and His blood was shed He paid the debt of sin for all mankind (1 Corinthians 11:24). The Lord's Supper is also a symbol of our present relationship with Him, as believers we are one body in Christ (1 Corinthians 10:16-17 ). Finally it is a promise and hope for what He will do in the future (1 Corinthians 11:26). Luke 19:19-20; Matthew 26:26-28; 1 Corinthians 11:24-28
