We are a group of believers meeting and holding worship services and Bibles studies in our house. Come comfortable and come ready to be challenged by God's Word. Also, feel free to ask any questions when you come. Remember Thursday nights are our Bible Study night and this is a perfect time to really get connected, build relationships and ask questions about the Christian faith.
BELIEFS
God: We believe there is one, and only one, living and true God, an infinite, intelligent Spirit, the Maker and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth, inexpressibly glorious in holiness and worthy of all possible honor, confidence and love; and that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in every divine perfection, and executing distinct, but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption. Deut. 6:4; Eph. 4:6; 1 John 5:7
The Bible: We believe in the divine inerrancy and infallibility of the sixty-six books of the Bible. It is, in fact, the very Word of God wihtout any mixture of error. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
The Savior: We believe that God the Son, Jesus Christ, was born of a virgin and incarnated Himself in a perfect human body and he was; therefore, both fully God and fully man. We believe he lived a sinless life and died a substitutionary death. We believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY Savior of lost mankind. John 3:16; John 14:6
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ: We believe He arose bodily from the grave where His body remained three days and nights. We believe He arose a victor over death, hell, and the grave. 1 Corinthians 15:3-5
Salvation: We believe that all men are sinners and; therefore, stand guilty before God. Only by the grace of God, through personal repentance, and faith can a person receive Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord. Romans 3:23; 6:23; 10:13; Ephesians 2:8-9
The Church: We believe that Jesus Christ established His church during His earthly ministry. We believe in the local church and the universal church. This means that all people who have called upon the name of the Lord and being saved by Grace through faith in Christ are a part of the universal Church. However, believers are to also gather as part of a local congregation of baptized believers of like faith for the purpose of worship, accountability, growth in the faith, use of spiritual gifts, fulfilling the great commission, and partaking of the two ordinances which are Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Matthew 16:18; Hebrews 10:25; Acts 20:28; Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 11 & 12, Matthew 28:19-20
The Great Commission: We believe that Jesus Christ commanded His church to go into all the world, preach the Gospel, baptize converts, and organize them into local congregations. We believe that this program is to be the heartbeat of the church which He established. Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8
Preservation of the Saved: We believe that Jesus Christ keeps those who by grace through faith receive Him as their Savior. John 10:27-30
