Our Mission
Here at Guiding Light Ministries of East Tennessee, we try to educate those who are seeking the “truth”. Now we realize there are differences of opinion on how you can obtain the “truth”. We just choose to give it to you in a less formal manner. We believe that the “truth” is the same whether you get it on the street corner or in a "church" building. So whether your 0 to 100, the message is the same. And we believe everyone should hear the good news of Jesus Christ and his story of resurection, The tomb is empty. Black, White, or Purple. Right, Wrong or Indifferent. Jesus loves you!
Oh! And just to let you know, we won’t keep ourselves hidden in a building, we will be out there on the streets, in your neighborhood and around the world, so that everyone knows the way, and the “truth”, and the life of Jesus Christ.

About God:
God is the one and only True God. He exists in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God is the creator of all things in Heaven and on Earth. God is righteous and loving. He is all knowing and purposeful.
About the Scripture:
God reveals everything of himself in the Holy Bible. There are no other true bibles except The Holy Bible. It is 100% accurate, reliable, and authoritative.
About the People:
People are made in God’s image and for his glorification.” For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). God wants an intimate relationship with all people. But for this to happen all must be born again. “For the wages of sin is death. But, the gift of God is eternal life, in Jesus Christ, our Lord” (Romans 6:23). “I assure you: Unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”. (John 3:3)
About Salvation:
That’s why God sent His son Jesus. “For God so loved the world that He sent his only begotten Son. So that, whoever believeth in Him shall not die, but have eternal life”. (John 3:16) God offers His free gift of salvation to all that believe in His son Jesus and accept him as Savior. Believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, that He was crucified on the cross for our sins, and rose on the third day, ascended into Heaven and seated at the right hand of God. “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”. (John 14:6)
