Lead Pastor Richard Miller
Hi, I’m Richard and I’m the pastor of Redemption Hill. I was born in the Netherlands and moved to Southern California when I was 2 years old. I never thought I’d leave California until God called my family and I to Myrtle Beach in 2020. My wife, Mackenzie, my 3 kids and I have loved being out here on the East Coast and the only things we miss are the food (especially In-n-Out) and the good West Coast surf! When I’m not doing “church things” I love being in the ocean, working in the garden, fixing up my ‘66 Volkswagen Squareback and watching movies.
I have been in ministry for 30 years and have my Masters of Divinity from Azusa Pacific University in California. I love the Church! I believe the Church is God’s chosen instrument to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world. For all its faults and brokenness, when the people of God are unified in loving God and loving people…there’s nothing that God can’t accomplish through them.
