About The Open Door Presbyterian Church
The Open Door places a strong emphasis on community, hospitality, and being a force for positive change in the city of Pittsburgh. The Sunday Worship gathering is casual, contemporary, and welcoming to anyone of all ages, faith backgrounds, and sexual orientations, ethnicities. Our church runs a three-acre urban farm in the heart of the city called Garfield Community Farms that focuses on promoting restoration and environmental sustainability. We work closely with a sister church to promote antiracism, and conduct small groups focused how to be active in racial reconciliation.
