About New Hope Church
Our history, as a congregation, dates back to the early 1800's. As the German settlers began to establish what we know today as Somerset County, PA, they soon established houses of worship. In 1969 two of these churches came together to form New Hope Church. New Hope Church has seen different denominational affiliations through the years but through all of the changes New Hope Church has always sought to be faithful with the light given her. She has sought to be true to the Scriptures and the Reformed faith.

We hold to the historic truths of the Protestant Reformation known as the Five Solas:
