About St. Martin's Episcopal Church

The Church's major outreach and support program is a monthly Food Pantry. Annually, the Church sup-ports the United Thank Offering, Millennium Goals and it gives monetary donations for international, national and local relief efforts. Our members have also served on building and medical missions in New Orleans, Peru, and Honduras. We provide financial support for the annual children’s Christmas Party sponsored by JCFD #4. Additionally, the congregation hosts, if time permits, Lessons and Carols with High Tea to celebrate the Christmas season. Weekly the Church’s meeting room is used by AA, Art Classes, Food and Friends as well as biweekly yoga classes and monthly healing services. For more information please be sure to check the calendar on our website, www.stmartinshadycove.org During Advent and Lent when classes are offered after Sunday service, soup and bread is provided. A special luncheon is prepared for Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. An annual picnic is held each September. Refreshments are provided following Christmas Eve Mass. St. Martin’s Episcopal Church is reaching out to help those who occasionally need assistance to adequately feed their family. The Food Pantry at St. Martin’s is proud to serve the families of Shady Cove and surrounding communities. Usually held the last Friday of every month, the pantry provides fresh produce, dried beans, rice and oatmeal as well as other basic items when available, to supplement what is currently being provided by other sources. First come, first served. No paperwork required! For date and time, check local bulletin boards and church windows on lower level.
