About Riverside Baptist Church
Welcome, from Riverside Baptist Church, located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada!
We are all on a "spiritual journey" through life. On that journey, we have learned everyone has spiritual needs that are just as vital as our physical needs. We love to share what we have discovered - Jesus gives us hope in this life and the promise for more!
Riverside is a friendly community in the east end of Windsor, and welcomes people of all backgrounds and interests to join us as we discover more about God, life and serving others.
There are Bible School classes for most ages at 9:45 am, from September through May. Our main worship service is at 11:00 am every Sunday and lasts until approximately 12:15 pm. We generally start with a varying mix of contemporary worship and traditional hymns, occasionally a solo or group song as well, which is followed by about 30 minutes of teaching, centred on God's message to us in the Bible. Nursery care and Junior Church are available for the young ones during this time.
During the week, we have a number of small groups meeting regularly to study the Bible further and encourage each other. There are also larger meetings such as the monthly Ladies Meetings and the Men's Breakfast Meetings, as well as groups for junior high, high school age, and college & career ages, led by our Youth Pastor.
We have a website with more information, a Facebook page for timely communication and encouragement through the week, and a YouTube channel where our full service can be viewed as live video or recordings of past weeks.
Everyone is welcome to come and visit. Oh, and dress as you feel comfortable - people wear everything from jeans to suits and dresses. No one will centre you out.
