Hello
We are a small church plant in Newcastle, and are interested in meeting those who love the Lord but don’t feel like they fit in with a more traditional church style.
We are very relaxed in our attitudes, except when it comes to worshipping and serving God.
Jesus calls all of us to Himself, and the Spirit will help you grow. None of us are perfect this side of heaven.

We Believe:
• that the Bible is God's written word given to man. It is inerrant in its original documents. We believe it is the authority for our lives and is sufficient for all that we need to know God, His son, Jesus, and to live a life that is pleasing to Him.
• that the God of the Bible is the One, living, true God and that there are no others. We believe that He is the Creator and Sustainer of our world and universe. We believe that He is eternal, infinite and perfect in all of His attributes. We hold to the doctrine known as the Trinity -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit -- meaning the God is of one essence while existing in three Persons.
• that Jesus is God in the flesh. We believe that He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect, sinless life, and literally performed the miracles that were recorded for us in the Bible. We believe that He died a sacrificial death on our behalf to pay the penalties that our sins acquired. We believe that He bodily resurrected, later ascended into heaven and will return again in power and glory.
• that God created mankind in His own image and likeness, but that mankind sinned and has fallen out of favor with God. We believe that man is sinful and lost and has no way of making himself right with God.
• that God in His grace toward fallen mankind sent His Son, as a man, to redeem them. He was not compelled to do this because of any outside force, but did it out of His love for His creation. Man cannot add anything to the work already performed by Christ. Salvation is solely based on Jesus' sacrifice and not on any type of work that man might do to make himself worth. Man's response to this work of Jesus is faith -- believing and trusting in this act to make him right with God.
• that the Holy Spirit dwells in the lives of those who are saved, that is, those who are redeemed. The Holy Spirit regenerates, sanctifies, instructs, guides and empowers God's people to obey His commands and to do works of service.
• in the future bodily resurrection of all people who have died -- the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to eternal punishment.
• that God has formed His redeemed people into a body called the church. Our purpose is to proclaim the greatness and glory of God and our mission is to go into all the world and make disciples. We gather together for worship, encouragement, the preaching of the Bible and to grow in God's grace and knowledge.
