Luke 4:18-19 - Rescue, Restore, and Release
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord." (KJV)
We capture the spirit of this scripture with the words Rescue, Restore, and Release. We believe that every person must be rescued from sin and death (Romans 3:23), be restored to God (Romans 5:19), and released to spread the good news (Matthew 28:18-20).

About Family Christian Center
Family Christian Center (FCC) is a Pentecostal church located in South Toledo. Our church is part of the Foursquare Gospel movement. FCC has a young congregation with a youthful attitude that respects church traditions and other Christian expressions. Our mission is found in Luke 4:18-19, we call it Rescue, Restore, and Release. We are an earnest and honest church that receives all but we certainly encourage all who attend to love the Lord with their all (Deut 6:5). We are organized and disciplined but at the same token we always give way to the Holy Spirit's leanings, direction, and creativity. We try to be serious with great smiles on our face. Our 2018 outreach activities are as follows:

Byrnedale Community Partner - we have the great privilege to serve Brynedale Elementary School. There are many opportunities to bless our community by serving the children and families at this school. Please contact Christine@aroundthefamily.com for more details.

We also have Holy Yoga and Revelation Wellness which add body health to Spirit and Mind.
Our Abolition of Slavery ministry addresses issues of sexual sin, sexual addiction, and love addiction as well.
BELIEFS
We are trinitarian. Although our services are contemporary, we also respect the ancient liturgical and protestant traditions. We believe in the Nicene Creed (AD 381) as well as the five Sola's. Our beliefs can be found at http://www.aroundthefamily.com/about/what-we-believe/
Regarding eternal security, we do not believe in once saved always saved. But we do believe that people have the free choice to back slide and become apostate. You cannot lose your salvation, but you can give the gift back. Scriptural support can be e-maild or seen at the link above.
We do hold to St. Augustine's teaching - In the essentials - unity; In the non-essentials - liberty; in all things - charity.
