Our Mission
Hope to all that enter
Our Goal
First and foremost, we want to see men, women, and children saved and their lives turned around. After this, we would like to see them join a good Bible-believing church, where they could grow strong in the Lord. We would like to see some of the men saved through this ministry called to preach and go and start other inner-city works. Not just in our city but all over the country.
Our Burden
God has given us a special burden for the men and women that most other people, including churches unfortunately, don't want to be burdened with; the drunk, the doper, the prostitute, the mentally disturbed, etc. These are the people that make up our crowd. We've asked God to give us those that nobody else wants and everyone else has given up on. We also do a lot of street work here in our city, preaching regularly on the steps of our capital building. By doing this, we reach not only the poor with the Word of God, but the working class and the well-to-do also. Our burden, in general, is for the lost; rich or poor.
Our Plea
We would just ask God that you would be obedient to Him and help us in whatever way you feel led. We are a faith ministry, and no one single church or organization supports us. We do not accept any funding from the government whatsoever, so we depend largely on individual contributions and support. God has been faithful in meeting our every need, and as future needs grow, we stand confident that He will continue to meet those needs.

About Amazing Grace Baptist Church
Amazing Grace Baptist Church is an independent, fundamental, King James Bible Believing Baptist church in Columbus Ohio. Services have a mix of hymns, lively bluegrass style music, and even some classical style music (a variety - but no "contemporary"/rock-n-roll music). The preaching and teaching is straight forward and Bible-based. A service and a meal following occur every evening Monday through Saturday for the homeless and less fortunate in the area. Although some in the church wear suits and ties, as long as it is modest all are welcome. Clothes don't make the person - their willingness to listen to God's word being preached is more important. As an extension to the church there is both a men's and a women's mission associated with the church to help get people off drugs, alcohol, or just generally unhealthy lifestyles. There is also an outreach to "the girls" on the streets through the church. Each July we host an old fashioned tent meeting revival. We would love to see you Sunday and/or Wednesday. Welcome.

BELIEFS
We believe that the Holy Bible, 1611 King James, is God's preserved, inspired, inerrant word. It is the truth without any admixture of error for its matter.
We believe that there is one, and only one, living and true God; that in the unity of the Godhead there are three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
We believe in the Genesis account of creation and that it is to be accepted literally.
We believe in the Biblical view of marriage - one man and one woman. Homosexuality is not an alternative lifestyle but just another sin to be forgiven and to repent and turn from.
We believe all mankind to be sinners as a result of the voluntary transgression of Adam.
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Ghost in a miraculous manner; born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man, and that He is the Son of God and God the Son.
We believe that salvation is wholly of grace, through the blood of Christ that was shed on the cross. We hold that a sinner must accept this atonement for his own sins in order to be saved.
We believe that a church is a group of baptized believers whose only guide is the Bible and whose only mission is to teach and preach the Gospel.
We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion in water of a believer. Not as a condition for salvation, but rather after having personally accepted Christ's free gift of salvation.
We believe that Christ rose bodily from the grave; that after forty days He ascended to the right had of God, where He is today interceding for the saints; that He will some day return to earth, bodily, personally, and visibly, to establish His Kingdom for a thousand years of righteous reign.
