Meet The Pastor
Co-Pastors Henry Zorn and Nicole Kelly
Pastor Henry Zorn was born in Queens, New York. He grew up in suburban New York City on Long Island. Pastor Zorn is a 1978 graduate of Hofstra University with a BBA specializing in accounting. He also earned an MBA degree with a specialization in Banking, Finance, and Investment in 1982. Pastor Zorn worked in the business world for fifteen years before attending seminary. He is a 1996 graduate of Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. Pastor Zorn was called to Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in January, 1997. Pastor Zorn has a passion for justice ministries including world hunger and the welcome of refugees and immigrants. In 2006 he began Anderson Churches for Racial Unity, an ecumenical organization that promotes education and awareness of racism. As part of this effort, LCR has established a sister-church relationship with Allen Temple AME Church in Bond Hill. Pastor Zorn has been married to Cindy for 36 years and they have three adult daughters and three grandchildren. He enjoys sports and gardening and is an avid runner. Pastor Zorn is a life-long Lutheran.
