Welcome to Sound Beach Community Church!
It's our desire to love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength; to love our neighbor as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31 (12:30 AM 12h) (12:30 AM 12h)); to love one another (John 13:34 (1:34 PM 12h) (1:34 PM 12h)) and to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth (John 4:23 (4:23 AM 12h) (4:23 AM 12h)). We are committed to the core values of the church: worship, fellowship, evangelism, discipleship, prayer and the Word.
Our Church was founded in 1953 and has stood to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. We are an Evangelical Free Church. Our Pastor is John D'Eletto who is ordained by and has served with the Evangelical Free Church of America for over 17 years.

BELIEFS
We believe in the Bible as the inerrant Word of God, and in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, the three persons of our Creator God. We believe in Jesus Christ, true God and true man, and His substitutionary sacrifice through His death on the cross; His victory over sin and death demonstrated by His resurrection; the sinfulness of all people, and the need for each person to turn from their sin and trust in Christ's finished work for redemption from sin. We believe that once by the grace of God we have trusted in Christ, we are sealed by the Holy Ghost unto eternal life. That seal is unbreakable. While we cannot earn salvation by good works, the Holy Ghost prompts and enables us to turn from sin and do good. These are evidence of salvation, but do not earn it. We believe that our highest purpose is the Great Commission, to seek the lost and share the gospel with them. And we believe we are to support each other in that effort.
