Reverend Brenda D. Ford
Reverend Brenda D. Ford : Pastor Ford is a native of Cambria Heights, New York. She holds a B.S. degree from State University of New York, a M.S. from Long Island University, Brooklyn, NY, a M.Div from Union Theological Seminary, New York. New York.
In 2008 Rev. Ford was ordained an elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and appointed as the first female pastor of Trinity A.M.E. Church, in Smithtown, New York where she served for three years and one year at Mt Olive A.M.E. Church.
Rev. Ford was appointed Pastor of Mt. Carmel A.M.E. Church, New Rochelle, New York in April 2012. She is a ministerial spiritualist, anointed preacher, gifted teacher, and a woman of integrity. As a visionary leader, she is leading the congregation to new beginnings of covenant renewal, relationship building, and service engagement.
Rev Ford is bi-vocational and also serves as Chaplain of Protestant Campus Ministry at Stony Brook University.
In both her roles, Rev. Ford has been called to a ministry of renewal and revitalization.
Rev. Ford has a rich diversity of experience in missions, church consulting, community health ministries, multi-cultural ministries, violence prevention and organization development..
