We welcome all Brothers and Sisters in the faith that wish to fellowship with us. We would be thrilled to learn that you are planning to worship with us in the suburb of Reno Nevada known as Black Springs boardering Golden Valley and Raleigh Heights. As we are a married senior couple each with disabilities, who hold study-services in our home in the same fashion as they did in the first century, we have unfortunately entertained ‘ravenous wolves’ in the past and we must now be more protective of our body. So, please email us a letter of introduction on your home church's letterhead, at least one week prior so we may give you proper directions to our home. If you are unable to provide a letter of introduction then we unfortunately must request that you complete a private and/or on-line one page Bible study about the Basic Beliefs so that we may get acquainted with each other and share/teach these simpler foundational truths, establishing that we are like minded and of one accord in faith and belief. We are a standard 'instrumental' Church of Christ body, however we have 'COME OUT' from the world, with the exception of Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Thanksgiving, which we do everyday through our prayers and actions, and do so on those three days too, because they are stressed in the Bible and do hot have their origins in pagan /myth /occult/ satanic practices. However, we do not celebrate any other worldly / pagan holidays or such that was not celebrated or promoted by Christ and the New Testament apostles. (Mark 7:6-7,13, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18) We believe that faith in Jesus brings one to follow in obedience all of He commanded which also includes full immersion Baptism in the name of the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, for the forgiveness of sins that is necessary for salvation, plus the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and a clean conscience. At that point we will accept you with open arms and an introduction to existing body of Christ that worships at our services. The existing body meets on the first day of every week at 4pm in our home, where we have NO women in leadership positions during the 'worship service' portion of our gathering. We try our best to stay on track in regard to the following format: we pray, sing, read scripture, preach, break bread, sing some more, fellowship, and accept tithes for supplies and assist the body, as able.
