BELIEFS
STATEMENT
1. THE INSPIRATION OF THE SCRIPTURES.
The Scriptures, both Old Testament and New Testament are verbally inspired by God and are the revela-
tion of God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct. (2 Tim 3:15-17; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21).
2. THE ONE TRUE GOD.
The One True God has revealed Himself as the eternal “I AM,” the Creator of heaven and earth and the
Redeemer of mankind. He has also been revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isa.
43:10, 11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22).
3. THE DEITY OF JESUS CHRIST.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Bible declares: His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23),
His sinless life (Hebrews 7:26), His miracles (Acts 2:22), His work as a representative on the cross (1
Corinthians 15:3), His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39) and His exaltation
to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9-11; Phil. 2:9-11; Heb.1:3).
4. THE FALL OF MAN.
Man was created good and upright; for God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.”
However, man by his own voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical but also
spiritual death; which is separation from God (Genesis 1:26-27; 2:17; 3:6).
5. THE SALVATION OF MAN.
The only hope of redemption for man is through the blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
a. Conditions for salvation. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in the
Lord Jesus Christ. (Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8; Titus 2:11; 3:5-7).
b. Evidence of salvation. The inward evidence of salvation is the direct testimony of the Spirit (Ro-
mans 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians
4:24; Titus 2:12).

6. ORDINANCES OF THE CHURCH.
a. Water baptism. All who repent and believe in Christ as Savior and Lord should be baptized by
immersion. Thus, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and have been raised with
Him to walk in newness of life (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16).
b. Holy Communion. It involves the participation of eucharistic elements “bread and fruit of the
vine” (2 Peter 1:4). It is a memorial of His suffering and death (1 Corinthians 11:26), a prophecy of
His second coming (1 Corinthians 11:26) and it is a mandate for all believers “until He comes.”
7. BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.
All believers are entitled to earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and
fire. Baptism comes with an endowment of power for life, service and the granting of spiritual gifts for
their use in ministry (Luke 24:49; Hec.1:4-8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31). The baptism of the Holy Spirit is
evident in believers through the physical sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives them utter-
ance (Acts 2:4).
8. SANCTIFICATION.
An act of separation from all evil and of dedication unto God (Romans 12:1-2; 1 Thess. 5:23). The Bible
speaks of a life in holiness “without it no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14). Sanctification is ac-
complished in the believer by recognizing their identity with Christ in his death and resurrection; and
by faith proposes to live every day in union with Christ by offering every faculty to the Holy Spirit’s
dominion. (Romans 6:1-11,13).
9. THE CHURCH AND ITS MISSION.
The Church is the body of Christ who has the divine charge of fulfilling the great commission. Each
believer, born of the Holy Spirit is an integral part of the Church. (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:22; Hebrews
12:23). The main reason for the existence of the Church:
a. To be an agency of God in evangelizing the world (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19:20).
b. Being an entity in which man may worship God (1 Corinthians 12:13).
c. To be a channel of God’s purpose and edify (disciple) a body of saints being perfected in the image
of His Son. (Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Corinthians 12:28; 14:12).

d. Being a people who show God’s love and compassion to the world (Psalm 112: 9; Galatians 2:10).
10. MINISTRY.
Our Lord has provided a ministry with a divine calling and ordained it with the purpose to lead the
Church in: (1) evangelizing the world (Mark 16:15-20), (2) worshipping God (John 4 :23, 24), (3) edify-
ing a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son (Ephesians 4:11, 16) and (4) meeting human
needs with ministries full of love and compassion (Galatians 2:10).
11. DIVINE HEALING.
Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. The deliverance of diseases has been provided in the
atonement and it is a privilege for all believers (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16: 17-18).
12. THE BLESSED HOPE.
The resurrection of those who have died in Christ together with the rapture of those who are still alive is
the second coming of the Lord, and the imminent blessed hope of the Church (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17;
Romans 8:23; Titus 2:13; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52).
13. THE MILLENIAL REIGN OF CHRIST.
The second coming of Christ includes the rapture [abduction] of the saints followed by the visible return
of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for a thousand years (Matthew 24:27-30; Rev. 1: 7; 19:11-14).
14. FINAL JUDGEMENT.
There will be a final judgment for the sinners who have died; they will be resurrected and judged accord-
ing to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, shall be consigned to everlast-
ing punishment in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death together with
the devil and his angels, “the beast and the false prophet” (Matthew 25:46; Revelation 19:20; 20:11-15;
21:8).
15. THE NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH.
“Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth
righteousness” (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21 and 22).
OUR VALUES
1. FAITH IN PEOPLE.
(Including wining souls)
• Faith in people. We believe nobody is an accident here or now, and that each person has God-
given potential within them. God has a purpose for every person on this earth. We are all full-time ministers and God disguises us in different professions and roles in society (Isa 44:2; Jer. 1:5; Jer.29:11).
Jer. 29:11 I know the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give them a future full of hope. I, the Lord, have spoken.
• Winning souls. We believe that everyone, Christian and non-Christian is valuable to God. Everything we do must be tied to win a soul for Christ. We must not keep the riches we have received. It is our responsibility to share the health, freedom and blessings that we have received by grace (Matthew 25:45; 2 Pet. 3:9).
Mat. 18:14 (NIV) 14 In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.
2. TEAMWORK.
(Including Sense of Urgency)
• Teamwork. We believe we are the best when working in teams. We are one body. We are the army
of God. We are a family. We are a team. This work is too great for an individual. Our effort produces more fruit when we work together instead of alone. Our gifts complement each other when we work as a team (Ecc. 4:9-12; Eph. 4:11-12; 1 Cor. 12:7-12; Rom. 12:3-8; Ps.133:1-3).
Ecc. 4: 9-12 Two are better than one, then get more out of their work. 10 And if one falls, the other rises. But pity the man who falls being alone, for no one to help him up! 11 Also, if two lie down together, warming each other; but one, how will you get warm? 12 One can only be overpowered, two can resist. And besides, the cord of three strands is not easily broken.
• Sense of urgency. We believe it is God’s will to win and disciple the greatest amount of souls in the least amount of time. People are dying without Christ every day. We will not give rise to doctrinal discussions or methodology that will hold us back from rescuing lives; just as firefighters who first rescue people from a fire, and then investigate.
2 Pet. 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
3. HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS.
(Including family)
• Healthy Relationships. We believe in cultivating healthy relationships. We were not created to
live in isolation; we are designed to live in community. We must resolve all conflict quickly and biblically with grace, courage, respect and dignity without giving rise to resentment and murmuring; and intentionally cultivating good relationships. (James 1:2; 1 Pet. 3: 8-9; 1 Cor. 13:8; Rom 16:17; Eph. 4:1-3).
1 Pet. 3: 8-9 NIV Finally, live in harmony with one another; share joys and sorrows, love as brothers, be compassionate and
humble. 9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult; but with blessing, because to this you were called to inherit a blessing.
•The Family. We believe it is essential to make sure our activities promote the importance of family. Our style of ministry must provide the correct order of priorities: God, family, ministry. We will keep the right balance between family and ministry. We believe it is unhealthy to stop serving God and that it is good to serve as a family in the ministry; remembering that each member has at least one God given gift. Each member of the family is important. Moses told Pharaoh that the whole family should leave Egypt because they were going to worship as a family and together celebrate God.
Ex. 10:19 Moses said: We have to go with our young and old, sons and daughters, and our flocks and herds, because for us it is a great feast of the Lord.
4. EMPOWERMENT.
(Including accountability)
• Empowerment. We believe in making space for emerging leaders who are growing. We will iden-
tify and intentionally form others who can do what we do better. We teach others what we know and prepare them, so they can pass on the torch and continue carrying the Gospel to the next generation (2 Timothy 2:2; Luke 9:1-2; 10:1-2).
Luke 9: 1-2 Then he called his twelve disciples and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. 2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.
•Accountability. We believe that we grow healthier when we are voluntarily accountable to others. Accountability keeps our hearts clean when we are put in places of influence, authority, power or fame (James 5:16; Prov. 17:27; Mark 12:29-31; 1 Pet. 2:2; 1 Tim. 4:7-8; Luke 9:10; Luke 10:17).
James. 5:16 NIV Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
5. EXCELLENCE.
(including practical relevance)
• Excellence. We believe that God is worthy of our best, not perfectionism, but practical excellence that is continuously evaluated and improved. Also, we give people our best and not our leftovers. We will do everything for God and not for men; which includes what we do in the church and in our daily lives. (Col. 3:23; Psalm 78:72; Dan 5:12).
Colossians 3:23 NIV Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,
• Practical Relevance. We believe it is necessary to present each message in an understandable way. The Bible will always be our foundation and we will present it in a creative way using all possible means. (2 Tim. 3:16). We teach in such a way that what you hear today will help improve the quality of your life here and now; so that when you leave the church you can apply what was heard at home, work, school and society in general.
The devil’s point of entry is only possible when people “do not understand” the message; therefore we will not allow the devil to steal the seed that was planted in the hearer’s heart. (Matt 13:19:23; 1 Corinthians 9: 22-23).
1 Cor. 9: 22-23 22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak, I became all things to all in order to save some by all means possible. 23 All this I do for the gospel, to share in its blessings.
