HOPE's Lead Pastor, Jeff Bills
Lead Pastor Jeffrey D. Bills
Rev. Jeffrey D. Bills 65 Battery Hill Drive Voorhees, NJ 08043 Pastor@MeetHope.org MeetHope.org About Jeff Jeff Bills, lead pastor to HOPE United Methodist Church in Voorhees, has been a vital member of the community for the past 24 years. Leading the first worship service in the cafeteria of Signal Hill Elementary School in 1990, Jeff has overseen HOPE’s continual growth as it has become one of the largest Methodist churches in the northeast region of our country. It currently is the faith home to more than 1,500 individuals. When the bank on the corner of Centennial Boulevard and Cooper Road became available, Jeff casted a vision for the people of HOPE to purchase the property with the intent that it be used to “bless the greater Voorhees community.” Some of the ways this new facility, The Meeting Place, is embodying that vision is by offering the facility, free of charge, to dozens of weekly support groups including many anonymous, 12-step programs. Additionally, the property is used for gatherings for busy moms, the Girl Scouts and even a weekly, Drive-Thru Prayer initiative. Under his leadership, HOPE Church also offers a weekly food pantry serving more than 40 local families who experience food insecurity. Jeff has been a member of HOPE’s Haiti mission team and most recently, part of the mission team that has travelled to Cuba the past two summers. Jeff has been a member of the Voorhees Public School District’s Key Communicator’s Committee for the past two years. He has a deep desire for the community and religious leaders to work together for the betterment of Voorhees Township. HOPE Church, under the wisdom of its lead pastor, Jeff Bills, remains committed to being a “light on the hill” … A faith community that desires to be a blessing to the people of Voorhees and the surrounding communities.
