Pastor Terence and Donna Johnson
Pastor Johnson accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at the St Johns Baptist Church in Scotch Plains, NJ in 1975 and was baptized by Bishop Kelmo C. Porter Jr and later rededicated his life to Christ at an Evangelistic Crusade in Plainfield, NJ conducted by Bishop Donald Hilliard II on July 6th, 1979.
Pastor Johnson received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1981 (age 16) and shortly after accepted the call of God for ministry and was licensed on June 14th, 1987 at the Historic Second Baptist Church, Perth Amboy, NJ by Bishop Donald Hilliard II. Pastor Johnson received his B.A in Information Systems/Business Administration at Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA.
Pastor Johnson served as an associate minister at Grace Deliverance Baptist Church in Bethlehem, PA (1989-1992) and served as Praise and Worship Leader. He was instrumental in establishing the Praise and Worship Team at Greater Deliverance Baptist Church in 1992.
In 1993, he returned to Cathedral International, Perth Amboy, NJ as an associated minister (1993-2003) serving in several ministries (New Member Class instructor, Straight Gate Prison Ministry, New Generation Youth Ministry, Single's Ministry, College Ministry, Security Ministry, and other Cathedral International campus churches-Cathedral By the Shore in Asbury Park, NJ and Cathedral In the Fields, Plainfield, NJ).
Between 1996-1998, Pastor Johnson assisted the Greater Shiloh Baptist Church in Easton, PA in Lay Leadership Training (Minister and Deacons) along with helping organized the Praise and Worship in 1994. He served as a psalmist and musician. He, along with a team at Greater Shiloh Church, orchestrated several annual community Worship Services (High Praise 1996, Pentecost-1997, High Praise-1997, Pentecost-1998, and High Praise 1998, and High Praise-1999). Overseer Johnson has always been known for his anointing in leading congregations in Corporate Praise and Worship. Praise and Worship and Biblical Teaching have been the bedrock of his ministry.
Overseer/Pastor Johnson married Donna M. Davis in Easton, PA in October 1995 and was blessed with two beautiful daughters (Lydia Joy Johnson and Victoria Joy Johnson). He is a committed and loving father and faithful husband.
In February 2004, Pastor Johnson was assigned as the Covering Shepherd of the newly planted church, “Cathedral Fellowship North Hills” currently known as the “Cathedral International North Hills Church by Bishop Donald Hilliard and was later ordained under CEFCA (Covenant Ecumenical Fellowship and Cathedral Assemblies) on October 27th, 2005 by Bishop Donald Hilliard.
Pastor Johnson was officially appointed Senior Pastor of “Cathedral International North Hills” in May 2006.he Cathedral International North Hills church was incorporated on March 15th, 2007.
Pastor Johnson was consecrated to the Office of Overseer on October 2017 in Covenant Fellowship Alliance (formerly known as Covenant Ecumenical Fellowship and Cathedral Assemblies) by Bishop Curtis H Douglas (Dabar-Bethlehem Cathedral-Queens Village, NY)
Overseer Johnson ministry expands to Pakistan (Cathedral International North Hills Bible School of Pakistan) and Kenya covering several local Pastors in both countries.
Overseer Johnson has a heart for building Christian families and reaching out to the Bergen County community (Teaneck, Englewood, and Bergenfield) and internationally.
