About Church Of The Madonna
Madonna Church, a Roman-Catholic Church, serves over 1,000 families who speak over 60 languages, making it one of the most culturally diverse parishes in Bergen County. We hold 18 Masses a week (not including special Masses). The religious formation program provides classes and sacrament preparation for Pre-K-8th grade students on Sundays after the 9am Mass from September-May. Madonna Parish's Catholic elementary school, Christ The Teacher School, provides a Catholic-based elementary school education for Pre-K-8th grade children. Anyone 7-years old or older who has not been baptized or has not celebrated First Holy Communion and Confirmation, can prepare for full initiation through the RCIA program. Teens in grades 7-12 are welcome to join our active youth group, which is very active in community-based activities and fundraisers to help the poor, elderly, and sick.
