This part of the Union American Methodist Episcopal church, which is the first fully incorporated black church in America and serves Gloucester County NJ. We believe the Bible to be the final authority on all matters and welcome any ethnicity to join us in worship. Our Mission is to empower and educate the communities in which we serve, through teaching, education and servie.

BELIEFS
JESUS CHRIST; is the foundation and cornerstone of the church. He came to restore man’s broken relationship with God. His finished work on the cross made that possible. 1st Cor. 3:11, Ephesians 2:20, Romans 5:6-10
THE BIBLE; is the inspired, infallible Word of God and is relevant and applicable to man today. Therefore, we place great emphasis upon teaching it in public, studying it in private and using it as a guide for our daily lives. 1st Tim. 4:13, 2nd 3:16-17, 1st Thessalonians 5:6-10
WORSHIP; We believe God is worthy of all praise, reverence and love. We take special time weekly, when we gather together and worship Him through song, giving and praying. It is our goal to worship Him with our whole lives, at home, work and play. John 4:23, Colossians 3:15, 1st Thessalonians 2:13
CHRISTIAN GROWTH; as believers, we are to be growing in our walk with the Lord. We encourage this by abiding in Christ through obedience to His Word, prayer and fellowship and fellowship and yielding our lives to the Holy Spirit. John 15:4, Romans 8:29, Ephesians 5:18
CHRISTIAN SERVICE; is a part of the Christian life and is the responsibility of all believers. Our goal is to develop the every member to use their gifts in love to the benefit of all for the glory of God. Ephesians 4:11, 1st Corinthians 12:4-7
LOVE; is the greatest virtue and demonstration of the reality of Jesus Christ and the fullness of His Spirit in our lives. We endeavor to show a Christ-like love toward all men. Love should be exhibited in our lives by our words as well as our actions. John 13:34-35, 1st Corinthians 13:13
