About Waynesville Free Methodist Church
Waynesville Free Methodist Church is a new church start-up in an existing facility. WFMC was originally planted in the 1940s and enjoyed a long and storied history in the community. The existing facility and parsonage were constructed in 1950. A number of years ago, the church closed, and now we hope to add to this story. Many people across Haywood County have great memories of the church as it existed in prior years. Community social gatherings were popular, and we intend to spark interest in neighborhood socials again. It is also a place where the Bible is taught and faith is nurtured. Much work has been done to catch up on missed maintenance and update the facility, and work still needs to be done. We look forward to getting to know you!
