About Trinity Episcopal Church
Trinity Episcopal Church in Mount Airy, NC is a diverse community of people dedicated to serving others in Christ's name.Our church, built in 1896, is the oldest granite building in Mount Airy. It is modeled after parish churches in England. We are one of more than 100 parishes in the Diocese of North Carolina. Using the Book of Common Prayer, we worship in the style of the Anglican Communion throughout the world.

BELIEFS
It doesn’t matter what you do or don’t believe; you are welcome at Trinity Church on Sunday morning and for all church activities. We are a safe and respectful community, and we will support you on your personal faith journey.
We believe God is love, God loves us, and God wants us to love.
Our overrarching guide is Jesus’ teaching known as “the Summary of the Law” (Matthew 22:37-40):
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
We believe that faithful living means coming to a deeper understanding of God, to embrace these two commandments, and to live our lives according to them.
