Meet The Pastor
Chris Thompson
My wife Jenny and I began Radiant Life Fellowship with a handful of friends in 2008 for some reasons that still burn within our hearts today. We long to be a part of a church that is an explosion of God’s love into our community; a church that tells people about the goodness, grace, and awesomeness of Jesus in new ways that connect with real people; a church that is a healing place for the broken, the burned out, and even those bored with faith. In short, our vision from day one has been to lead people to follow this amazing Jesus we know. Every day, I get to see Radiant Life strive to become this kind of life-giving, redemptive place in the Lake Norman community.
I think it is an honor to shepherd people, hear their stories, help them find their calling and walk with them as they take steps of faith toward Jesus. I am a servant leader because many years ago, God called me to this and infused His gifts of leadership, teaching and shepherding into me in order to build up the church.
A little more about me…I was born in Kansas City, Missouri, but I’ve also lived in Florida, Arizona, and Colorado. I am totally head over heels in love with my beautiful wife, Jenny. We share our lives with four children, Cole, Noah, Sara and Jake.
In my spare time, I enjoy biking, reading, spending time with my wife, playing anything with my kids, going to the beach, hanging out with our neighbors, and doing life with the people of Radiant Life.
