Meet The Pastor
Pastor John P. Goble
Pastor John, and his wife Cindy, have been the Lead Pastors at Palmyra First Assembly since May, 2018. John graduated from Slidell Baptist Seminary in 2006 with a Bachelor of Theology and completed His coarse work at Global University in 2013. He was credentialed as an Assembly of God Minister in 2013. He has served as a Deacon, Youth Leader, Worship Leader, Associate Pastor, and Senior Pastor since his salvation in 2001. Cindy has also served as Youth, Children’s , and Women’s Leader with her passion being for Women’s Ministry since her salvation. John and Cindy have been married since 1997 and have four children, Ashley, Zachary, Kaiden, and Hope. They also have 4 grandchildren. John is passionate about preaching and teaching the Word of God with real life application, as well as passionately worshipping the Lord . He has a shepherd’s heart to lead with compassion and understanding. He loves people and desires to see them grow in their walk with Christ. When he’s not involved in church activities he loves to spend with his family, playing games, watching sports, fishing, and simply relaxing with a good movie.
