Our Mission

Love God. Love Others. Make Disciples.
The mission of Our Lady of Peace - arising from our communion in the Sunday Eucharist - is to proclaim the Word of God, to celebrate the presence of the Risen Lord in our midst, and to recognize the gifts of the Holy Spirit among us and use them to transform our lives in the world according to the pattern of life Jesus has shown us.

BELIEFS

God the Father created the world and created humankind in His image. Humanity was separated from God through the Original Sin of Adam and Eve. Out of great love for us, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to the world as an infant.  Jesus sacrificed Himself on the Cross and rose from the grave on Easter. In so doing, He redeemed us from our sins and reunited us with God. Christ's presence in the World is continued through the work of the Holy Spirit in the Church and the Sacraments. We look to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, and the saints for the example and assistance as we seek to live as the Body of Christ in the world. The center of our worship is the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist along with the other Sacraments: Baptism, Reconciliation, Confirmation, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Orders.
Baptism: Both
Communion Frequency: Weekly
Eternal Security: Yes, Can Lose
Regularly Practice: Praying the Lord’s Prayer
We agree with these Doctrinal Statements: Apostles Creed Nicene Creed
