Meet The Pastor
Lead Pastor Federico Serrano
Welcome and thank you for your interest in Bridge City Church! Federico and Antonia are the founding pastors of Bridge City Church. They have been married for over 17 years and have four children, Federico Jr., Rizel, Matthew, and Abigail. Federico and Antonia met at Ekklesia-USA Church in Reston, Virginia where they served as part of the pastoral team before being sent out to plant Bridge City Church. Having been part of Ekklesia-USA Church for over 20 years under the leadership of pastor Carlos Peñaloza, and having served in various roles throughout the church for many years, they received confirmation of the dream to launch a new expression of the local Church in Silver Spring, Maryland with the purpose of connecting people far from God to the life-giving hope of Jesus. Before launching Bridge City Church Federico was an immigration attorney in private practice for over 15 years. He graduated from The George Washington University with a degree in Political Science and from Regent University with a law degree. Federico also served in the U.S. Marine Corps before pursuing a career in law. Antonia entered the finance field after obtaining her Master’s degree from George Mason University and worked for a non-profit organization in Washington, DC before deciding to hold down the fort at home. Together they enjoy spending time with the kids, taking long walks together, and trying to train their strong-willed German Shepherd named Kaiser. Federico and Antonia are trying to raise a family that believe that God’s love changes everything and they would be honored to join your family in this journey.
