The Church at Bowie is dedicated to the community. We believe in showing the love of God and winning souls through a tangible demonstration of the Gospel. We conduct 9 major church-wide outreach events a year coupled with ministry-specific outreach opportunities which span the whole year. Outreach at TCB is designed to empower adults with life-skills to be self sufficient, to assist families with acute and chronic needs and partner with social services and other agencies to provide relief to individuals and families in the Glenn Dale/Bowie area. Additionally, the vision of The Church at Bowie's food pantry is combat hunger and help feed 50+ families each month. It is our prayer to feed the township of Bowie, Glenn Dale, and Lanham and also to add additional services such as utility assistance, computer training, job placement, and clothing donations. BELIEFS

WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God. WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years. WE BELIEVE in the Blessed Hope, which is the Rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming. -WE BELIEVE that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ at Calvary. -WE BELIEVE that the new birth (regeneration) is absolutely essential for personal salvation. -WE BELIEVE that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. -WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit baptizes each believer into the Body of Christ. -WE BELIEVE in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose dwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. -WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost—the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
