Pastor Tony G. Kerns
Welcome to Heritage Bible Church! We invite you to join us in loving one another, learning God's Word and reaching our community with the message that eternal life is a free gift from God that we receive when we believe in Jesus as God in the flesh who died for our sins and offers us eternal life through faith in Him.
My Testimony-
While I didn’t grow up in a Christian home and didn’t attend church as a child, I heard the gospel presented clearly while in Junior High at the West Coast Youth Ranch but I wasn’t yet ready to accept Christ as my Savior. The Holy Spirit continued to work in my life and in High School I attended the Suncoast Youth Ranch where I heard the gospel clearly once again, realized that I was a sinner in need of a Savior who couldn’t save himself and so I trusted in Jesus Christ and His payment for my sins and His offer of eternal life through faith in Him alone. Because I had heard the gospel previously I realized immediately that, out of gratefulness for what Christ had done for me, I should choose to honor Him with my life and so I made the decision to give my life to Christ. I began to share Christ with my friends and neighbors and to grow in Christ and I was invited to be a part of the Youth Ranch leadership council. To further my walk with the Lord I went to Florida Bible College-Tampa/Tampa Bay Bible College (FBC-T/TBBC) and earned a Bachelor of Bible Studies degree and went into full-time ministry to help reach the world for Christ and to help my brothers and sisters in Christ to grow in their walk with Him. And I am incredibly blessed to be here at Heritage Bible Church shepherding and discipling those that God has gathered here.
I have been blessed to be walking with the Lord since I was 14 years old and to have been blessed to share Christ with thousands. I invite and encourage you to join us in using our gifts, talents, skills, education and experience to be the hands, the feet and the voice of Jesus in the Westbank!
